A fundraising campaign has been launched to help a talented teenage athlete fulfil his potential.

He will be spending 60 per cent of his time competing for Ireland this season and is hoping to be selected to represent their Under 18s in Slovakia.

Sean is currently ranked ninth in the United Kingdom and first in the Republic of Ireland.

He has represented the Peterborough and Nene Valley club this season in both the 60m and 200m events after competing in the 100m last season for Corby.

A Crowdfunding page has been started where anyone interested in sponsoring Sean can visit to make a donation.
