Ufford Park 1sts defend 130 to beat Stamford Town 1sts by five runs thanks to Sudheer Jafar’s 5-33

There were just five runs between Stamford Town 1sts and Ufford Park 1sts in a low-scoring Rutland League Division Two affair on Sunday.

Ufford were put into bat and were dismissed for 130 in 33 overs thanks largely to 41 not out from captain Sudheer Jafar. Aidan Staunton took 3-44 and was supported by Joe Harrington (2-11) and James Ferrow (2-25).
