Stamford Rugby Club Under 15s are through to the final of the Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire Cup
Stamford Rugby Club's Under 15s side have secured their place in the NLD Cup final.
They will face Ashbourne in the final at Scunthorpe on April after a tough semi-final success on Sunday.
Stamford saw off Scunthorpe 19-8 to reach the final of the competition which runs every year from Under 13s right through to senior level and includes rugby clubs across the three counties of Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire.
The Under 15s squad, which consists of boys from seven different secondary schools, have remained undefeated throughout their pool and knockout stages after playing clubs from Mansfield, Southwell, Mellish, Market Rasen and Chesterfield.
Playing together since they were Under 5s, the squad are delighted to have reached the final stages of the cup competition and are training hard before they travel to Scunthorpe for the finals in April.
Stamford Rugby Club offers minis and juniors rugby from aged three years all the way through to senior level from their club based on Empingham Road Playing fields, off Hambleton Road.
