Blackstones face West Bridgford in Division One of the United Counties League
Joint manager Jon Harrison is hoping his Blackstones side can 'kick on' in an exciting final third of their United Counties League season.
Stones are still on the cusp of the Division One play-off places and also have a semi-final clash with Potton in the Hinchingbrooke Cup to look forward to.
They have recorded back-to-back wins in their last two league outings and have also bolstered their squad with a couple of new signings.
Former Bourne player Will Bestwick has joined from Asfordby while Josh Barrett has made the switch from Holwell Sports.
Their arrivals have offset the departures of Luke Hunnings and Jack Wilson who have moved to Deeping Rangers and Bourne respectively.
Harrison said: "I'm happy with the business we've done after a few weeks of losing players.
"It’s been great to add the quality that we have done these last couple of weeks.
"We've now got to kick on in the final third of the season because there is lots for us to play for."
Stones were 1-0 away winners on Saturday after a hard-fought victory at Southwell City.
A fine finish from Scott Waumsley 12 minutes into the second half ensured Stones avenged a home defeat against the Zebras earlier in the season.
Co-boss Ryan Wood said: "It was a huge performance from the boys.
"It's a very tough place to come and leave with the points as we found out last year.
"Credit to all the lads as that's three clean sheets and 12 goals in the last four games."
The victory has left Stones in seventh spot, two points outside the play-off places. They host West Bridgford on Saturday.
Blackstones Under 18s booked their place in the semi-finals of the Lincolnshire County Cup with a 4-0 home win over Grimsby Borough on Sunday morning.
Joe Johnson gave Stones a first half lead which was extended after the break by two goals from Will Pearce-Smith before Jonathan Aig-Imoru completed the victory.
