South Lincs and Border League round-up
A five-wicket haul from Stuart Biggs helped Burghley Park to open up a 50-point advantage at the top of the South Lincs and Border League Championship table on Saturday.
Biggs took 5-28 from 6.1 overs as the table-toppers beat Bourne 2nds by eight wickets at the Abbey Lawn.
Chris Logan and Mohammed Azhar both bagged a brace each as Bourne were bowled out for 134 after being put into bat with opener Ben Woodward top-scoring with 33.
Burghley openers Michael Hobbins (34) and Lando Thain (39) led the reply before Hamish Bell steered them to victory with an unbeaten 29.
With second-placed Moulton Harrox not having a game at the weekend, Burghley are in a strong position at the top of the table with three league games remaining.
