Burghley's juniors won the South Lincs area competition last year and went on to be crowned county champions where they will represent Lincolnshire in the national finals in 2025.

William - who has been a member at Burghley since he was four-years-old - has enjoyed plenty of success on the club scene this season.

He won the Winter League pairs crown and was also triumphant in the June Medal and Mulligan Trophy.

Victories followed in the Junior Plate and Jim Shannon Trophy while William was also voted the club's most improved player to take the Alltech Trophy.

He finished third and fifth in Lincolnshire county open events at Elsham and Spalding and his ambition is to play golf and study in America.
