Stamford AFC have signed Kai Tonge from Harborough Town
Stamford have made another key signing after securing the services of attacker Kai Tonge.
The 27-year-old has joined the Daniels from Southern League Premier Division Central side Harborough Town.
Tonge helped the Bees gain promotion to step three of the non-league pyramid last season after joining from National League North side Rushall Olympic following a prolific spell with Coleshill Town.
He has spent time on loan under dual registration this season at Sutton Coldfield but netted the third goal of Harborough's memorable FA Cup clash at League One side Reading last month.
His arrival at the Zeeco Stadium follows that of Cosmos Matwasa who has returned to the Daniels for a one-month loan spell from National League North side Alfreton Town.
Matwasa made his Stamford comeback appearance in the 3-0 away win at Lowestoft Town on Tuesday night where the Daniels recorded their biggest league win of the season.
Goals from Tendai Chitiza, Tobias Liversidge and George Hobbins secured the win which moved Stamford back into the play-off places ahead of their home match with Redditch United on Saturday.
