A-levels 2025: Oundle School celebrates results ‘among the very best’ in its history
An independent school has posted some of its best-ever A-level grades.
Oundle School say the 2025 leavers achieved 21 per cent of all grades at A* and 60 per cent at A* to A.
The cohort also maintained a consistently high standard at the A*–B measure, with 87 per cent of grades in this bracket, narrowly missing the school’s record.
Fifteen pupils achieved a minimum of three A* grades, while 70 pupils achieved straight A*/A grades.

The school said that the vast majority of pupils have secured places at one of their chosen universities, and will study an array of degree subjects at prestigious universities in the UK and overseas.
“This year’s leavers have secured excellent results, finishing their time at Oundle with A* to B grades among the very best in the school’s history,” said headteacher Sarah Kerr-Dineen.
“They now set out confidently on the next stage of their lives. This is a great source of pride to us all.”
