Award-winning pianist to perform in Oakham for Ukrainian Rotary Impact Club of Rutland




An award-winning pianist and composer is to perform this weekend to help a local Ukrainian group.

The Ukrainian Rotary Impact Club of Rutland are hosting a fundraising concert by Yaroslav Oliinyk at All Saints Church, in Oakham. It takes place on Saturday from 7pm.

Back to the Future will feature neo-classical compositions by Yaroslav, a graduate of the National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music, in Ukraine.

They can also be bought at Oakham Wine Shop, in Market Square, and the Falcon Hotel, in Uppingham.

All proceeds from the evening will support local community projects in Rutland and Oakham.

The group became the first Ukrainian Rotary club in the UK when it was launched in November.

It has already dispatched two loads of medical equipment to Ukraine and is sending more mobility equipment as part of its campaign.
