Family farm event Countryside Lincs returns to Lincolnshire Showground next month with free entry for under 5s

Tickets are on sale for a showground’s popular family farming event set to take place next month.

Countryside Lincs hopes to make this year’s event its biggest yet, with interactive learning experiences, displays and demonstrations to teach families about food, farming and the countryside.

Hosted by the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society (LAS), the event is taking place at the Lincolnshire Showground on Sunday, April 14, from 10am to 4pm.

Rosie Crust, head of charity at the showground, said: “Countryside Lincs 2024 promises to be an exciting and unforgettable event.

“We invite everyone to join us in celebrating the arrival of spring and to enjoy some fantastic family fun.”

New to the festival this year is the Floral Art and Design Show, made in collaboration with North Midlands Area of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) and inspired by this year’s theme of joy.

“With dozens of activities to get involved in across our eight indoor and outdoor zones, there’s sure to be something for everyone whatever the weather,” Rosie added.

Under fives go free and tickets can be purchased online in advance here for £11 per adult, £6 per child or £32 for a family of five - booking fees apply.

All of the funds raised through ticket sales will be invested in the showground’s charity works, including the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society Education Programme.
