Ayscoughfee Hall in Spalding is set to host One Man Poe show

If you are looking to get into the Halloween spirit – this could be for you.

The One Man Poe show will be performed in Ayscoughfee Hall on Sunday, October 22, from 7pm.

Organisers have taken Edgar Allan Poe’s original text from the 1840s and will bring it to life.

Karl Gernert, pictured, of Act II Theatre Company who is working with actor Stephen Smith, said: “Stephen’s performance is an absolute tour-de-force, he truly inhabits and accurately brings to life four stories from the master of the macabre himself – Poe.”

The event, in collaboration with Act II and South Holland District Council, is a ‘pay what you can event’ on the door. To reserve a space go to the eventbrite website.
