London based choir will be coming to The South Holland Centre for their first show

A choir from London who have appeared on BBC’s Songs of Praise is bringing their show to town.

The Spirituals are appearing at the South Holland Centre, Spalding, on Friday, October 6 at 7.30pm.

With a reimagining of spiritual and songs being their speciality, the choir’s single Wade in Water gained more than ten million views on YouTube.

Audrey Gray, creative projects manager, said: “Audiences can expect a journey through gospel and spiritual music and hymns that have been modernised.”

This will be the choir’s first theatre booking and it will be their first time at Spalding – there are nine singers, a conductor and a narrator.

She added: “This is our first time at the South Holland Centre and we are genuinely excited to bring it to the theatre.”
