Remi Harris Hot Club Trio to perform at Uppingham, in Rutland
A town church is to be filled with the uplifting sound of jazz performed by a hotly-tipped guitarist.
Jazz guitarist, Remi Harris will perform as part of The Hot Club Trio, at the Church of St Peter and St Paul, in Uppingham, on Thursday, September 19.
With double bassist Tom Moore and rhythm guitarist Chris Nesbitt, they promise an enthralling evening of gypsy jazz and blues, inspired by Jimi Hendrix, Django Reinhardt, Peter Green, Wes Montgomery, and Joe Pass.
Remi’s playing has taken him from busking on the streets of his local towns to performing at many prestigious events and venues.
His CV includes gigs at Buckingham Palace, the Montreal Jazz Festival, BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall with Jamie Cullum, and on national radio and television.
