Rutland Arts Theatre Society to perform comedy Curtain Up! at Rutland County Museum in Oakham

An all-female cast is in final rehearsals for an amateur dramatic group’s latest production.

Rutland Arts Theatre Society (RATS) will be staging Stephen Quilter’s comedy Curtain Up! at Rutland County Museum, in Oakham.

The play tells the story of five women who unexpectedly inherit a run-down theatre from the same man and must work together to revive its fortunes.

The local cast is made up of Anna Kirkpatrick, Tricia Buxton, Liz Cole, Emi Rigby and Kas Newman.

The first performance takes place on Friday, October 17 at 7.30pm, with two further shows the following day at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
