The George Harrison Project to perform best-loved hits of Beatles star in Grantham next year




A show dedicated to one of the ‘Fab Four’ is heading to Grantham next year.

The George Harrison Project will be performing on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the Guildhall Arts Centre, in St Peter’s Hill.

The show will celebrate George Harrison’s best loved hits from The Beatles, his solo career and his years with The Travelling Wilburys.

Alongside John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Ringo Star, George Harrison helped The Beatles to become the best-selling musical act of all time, selling 600 million units worldwide.

Harrison, who died in 2001, also enjoyed a successful solo career, releasing 12 studio albums, including Living In The Material World, Cloud Nine, Brainwashed and the classic triple album All Things Must Pass.

During the show, some of his best-known tracks will be performed including All Things Must Pass, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Here Comes The Sun, Cheer Down, Handle With Care, Taxman, My Sweet Lord, Got My Mind Set On You, and many more.

Tickets cost £20 and the show begins at 7.30pm.
