Welcome to New York Primary School

We are very proud of our school, our staff and pupils. We set high expectations for our pupils in both learning and behaviour and as such we have a supportive framework in place to help them every step of the way whilst still ensuring we operate as a nurturing family environment.

We are committed to ensuring that every child feels safe, secure and cared for. We strive to raise academic standards and believe that all of us, including parents, have an important role to play in each child’s education. There will be times when you child has homework, and this is where parental support is paramount in helping us with your child’s learning and development. We operate an ‘open doors’ policy for all parents and carers and are always here to talk and listen.
