Algarkirk business wants to install two biomass boilers




A business wants to install two biomass boilers at its premises.

Algarkirk-based Barn Dried Logs has made the application to Boston Borough Council for its site on Green Lane, just off the A16.

Barn Dried Logs, which processes and supplies fuel wood, received planning permission to site holiday homes on its land in 2023.

The application has been made to Boston Borough Council.

Biomass boilers use natural fuels such as wood chips, logs, or pellets to produce heat through a process called gasification.

The heat is then used to heat water, which is circulated through pipes to heat a property.
