Lincolnshire Police arrest convicted rapist who failed to return to open prison near Boston
A convicted sex offender who has been missing on recall from prison has been arrested today (Sunday, July 13).
Lincolnshire Police have confirmed that wanted man Neil Trennan, who failed to return to North Sea Camp near Boston was located in North Yorkshire.
The 60-year-old convicted rapist was spotted by a member of the public and has been missing since Thursday (July 10).
A police spokesman said: “We would like to extend our thanks to the many members of the public who have called us with information and possible sightings, and who shared our appeal.
“This intelligence has been invaluable to our teams who have been searching to find Trennan.”
