Kirton firefighters called to Boston supermarket

Firefighters were called to reports of a fire at a supermarket.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue say they were called to commercial premises in Sleaford Road, Boston, earlier today but were unable confirm the name of the business.

However, local reports suggest it is the town’s Asda store.

A spokesman said: “We have been in attendance at a commercial premises in Boston to reports of a freezer smoking but crews have confirmed there’s no fire situation.”

Kirton and Boston firefighters attended.
