Boston firefighters called to arson in Lawrence Lane




An arson attack was reported in a disused outbuilding.

Firefighters were called to the waste and clothing blaze in an outbuilding on Lawrence Lane, Boston, just before 8pm last night (October 30).

Officers from Boston and Leverton fire stations attended the blaze.

A spokesman said: “There was fire damage to an external canopy and the ceiling of the outbuilding. Crews from Leverton and Boston attended and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire as well as thermal imaging cameras and Holmatro cutting equipment to gain access to a further disused building and check for fire spread.

“This incident was confirmed as being caused deliberately.”
