Fundraiser to support man hospitalised after Boston street attack

A fundraising page has been set up to support the family of a man who has been hospitalised following a baseball bat attack.

Adi Whiting is currently in a serious condition in hospital following the incident which took place outside Boston’s Carpenter’s Arms pub, where he works as bar manager, on Sunday night.

Almost £8,000 has already been pledged to support Adi, his partner Sarah and son Sylvester.

The page – which has been set up by colleagues at the Carps – explains: “He has suffered extensive brain trauma after being beaten across the head with a metal baseball bat.

“Adi has a fiancee, Sarah, and a beautiful baby boy, Sylvester, who turns one in a couple of weeks.

“Like any young couple starting out, they have very little money and live in rented accommodation.

“We are trying to raise as much money as possible to support Adi, Sarah and Sylvester through the next few months.

“Any monies you can donate will have a huge impact on their quality of life going forward.”
