Man arrested following alleged assault which left woman with injuries in Boston

A man has been arrested following an alleged assault left a woman with injuries.

Lincolnshire Police are now appealing for witneses who may have information about the incident which took place on Boston’s Willoughby Road this morning (November 8).

“A woman wearing a light blue puffer coat when she was reportedly attacked by a man wearing a black hood with a grey and blue body warmer at around 10.30am,” a police statement read.

“The altercation continued until the woman left the scene. She sustained injuries in the incident.”

A 25-year-old man has been arrested and is in custody.

“Investigators are now asking for eyewitnesses who were in the area at the time or anyone with ring doorbell or dashcam footage to come forward,” police continued.

“Any information, no matter how big or small, could prove crucial.”
