Lincolnshire charity Jerry Green Dog Rescue announces black terrier Tilly, missing after being trapped inside car stolen from Peterborough has been found




A dog who was trapped inside a car while it was stolen has been found.

Jerry Green Dog Rescue, which has branches in Boston and Brigg, put out a social media appeal after Tilly, a small black and wire-haired Terrier, was lost.

The eight-year-old dog was taken alongside a grey, 60 plate, Volkswagen Golf from Peterborough’s Ortongate Shopping Centre car park at approximately 5pm on Wednesday, July 10.

The charity announced on Monday (July 15) that Tilly had been located and was being very well looked after and monitored at the vets.

A spokesperson for Jerry Green thanked everyone who shared its post or sent information to help find her.
