Pizza takeaway chain reveals it is taking on Kirton site

A major pizza takeaway chain will be moving into a village site.

Plans for a hot food takeaway at Kirton’s Avalon Business Park were given the thumbs up by Boston Borough Council last month.

It is hoped the new venture will create up to 25 jobs.

Now it can be revealed that Domino’s will be the business setting up shop.

Domino’s currently have takeaways to the north and south of Kirton in Boston and Spalding. But the closest chain pizza business to the village is currently the Papa John’s takeaway on the Quadrant development in Wyberton.

An application for advertisement consent for one illuminated facia sign and one illuminated logo sign has been submitted for the site to Boston Borough Council this week by the firm.

“A pizza takeaway of the size proposed will generate approximately 25 part-time and full-time positions at the site,” the design and access statement submitted with the application said.

Plans passed were for three tables and seating for up to 10 people, plus a service counter, office, store, cold room, toilets and washing up area.
