Lincolnshire Police investigate arson at block of flats in Boston

Police are treating a fire at a block of flats as arson.

Officers were notified of the blaze at Haven Village in Boston earlier this morning (Tuesday) at 10.47am.

There were no reports of injuries and the cause of the incident is still unknown.

Lincolnshire Police say they are working with specialist fire investigators to progress their inquiries.

A spokesperson from the force said: “We are currently treating the fire as arson until new information comes to light.

“If you witnessed any suspicious activity at the time, or if you have any other information that can help with our investigation, please get in touch by calling 101 or quoting incident 172 of today’s date.”
