Police investigating reports of sheep heads and ‘body parts’ in village
Police are investigating reports of sheep heads being dumped at a village site.
Other ‘smaller body parts’ were also found, it is understood.
However, when officers arrived at the scene in Midville, between Boston and Spilsby, the grizzly findings appeared to have been moved.
“We received a report from a member of the public that eight sheep’s heads and other smaller body parts were found at Hobhole Bank at Midville,” a Lincolnshire Police statement read.
“It is thought they may have been left there at some point overnight on June 10 into June 11.
“Officers attended the location and the heads were not there, and it’s unclear who removed them.
“We will be looking into the circumstances of what happened in more detail.”
