A-levels 2024: Bourne Grammar School has biggest cohort with best results




Pupils at Bourne Grammar School are celebrating another record-breaking set of top-quality A-level results.

The school said its biggest ever cohort of 253 pupils sat A-level examinations this summer with 43 receiving a clean sweep of A* or A grades and seven achieving all A*s. Of all results, 84% were graded A*-C, 10% of all grades were A* grades, 32% were A* or A grades, and 63% were A*-B. The average A-level points score was 38.3.

Headteacher Alastair Anderson said “This year the students responded to the challenge of A-level study with incredible commitment.
