Bourne bins not emptied after van blocks road

South Kesteven District Council said it had not been able to empty bins in a Bourne Street as a removal van was blocking the road.

The council has asked residents to, however, leave their bins out, saying they would be emptied as soon as possible.

The following message was posted on the council's Facebook page and on Twitter: "We have not been able to empty the bins in Gladstone Street, Bourne today due to a removal van blocking the road.

"Please leave your bins out in the usual place and we will return to empty them as soon as we can.

"Many thanks."
