Plans for nine new homes off Falcon Way, Bourne approved by South Kesteven District Council

Permission has been given for bungalows to be built on land next to a care home.

Plans for nine new homes on land off Falcon Way, Bourne have been approved conditionally by South Kesteven District Council.

The site is within a built-up area of the town and is surrounded by Abbey Court Nursing Home to the south and Tesco supermarket to the north.

There is extant consent on the site for a close-care residential scheme comprising 40 two-bedroom units set within a single three-storey building.

However, this did not go ahead and in December plans were submitted for six two-bedroom homes and three three-bedroom properties, all single storey.

If built, the homes would be accessed from a private drive off Falcon Way and there would be off road parking for two vehicles at each property.
