Bomb disposal remove smoke grenade from shed in Speedwell Drive, Bourne




Bomb disposal experts were called after a grenade was discovered in a garden shed.

The discovery was made in Speedwell Drive, Bourne, and reported to police, who called in the explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) specialists.

A police spokesperson said: “We received a report that an old smoke grenade has been found. EOD experts were called out to safely remove the grenade, and arrived on scene shortly before 10.25am this morning.”

“The ordnance was removed and will now be disposed of.”
