Bourne Deeping Hockey Club completes beep test challenge for Don’t Lose Hope

Hockey players were put through their paces in a bleep test challenge.

Members of Bourne Deeping Hockey Club spent four hours running up and down Bourne Leisure Centre between a series of recorded beeps.

They each completed 100 levels and ran 16,000 metres, raising more than £500 for Bourne counselling charity Don’t Lose Hope.

Competitor Graham Brewer said: “It was a really tough challenge but raised money for a really good cause.

“At some point we all face difficult times in our lives whether it’s stress, anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness or addiction. Don't Lose Hope makes sure there is somebody there to remind us that there is always hope.”
