Man accused of Bourne knife attack appears in court




A man accused of a knife attack has appeared in court.

Daniel Bishop, has been charged with wounding following an incident in Bourne on January 30.

He took his place in the dock at Lincoln Magistrates' Court yesterday (February 1).

The 37-year-old, of Manning Road, Bourne, has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance.

“We received reports at 7.18pm that a man had sustained injuries to his back and head with what is believed to be a bladed weapon,” a Lincolnshire Police statement read.

“The assault took place on Manning Road.

“He was taken to hospital but thankfully his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.”
