Hair salon planned for property in Beck Way, Thurlby

A trainee hairdresser hopes to run a salon from her garage once she is fully qualified.

Francesca De Prez is seeking planning permission to open a business from her home in Beck Way, Thurlby.

South Kesteven District Council will decide whether to allow the building’s change of use.

In her application Miss De Prez said: “There will never be more than one person visiting the property at a time as bookings will be managed by an appointment system only.

“There will be no disturbance to neighbours. The garage is located in our garden and all access will be from our private driveway into the garden.”

Thurlby Parish Council raised no objections but noted that Beck Way is an unadopted road so on-street parking is not allowed. The main property has spaces for three vehicles.
