Bourne Indoor Farmers' Market returns to leisure centre
An indoor farmers’ market is back by popular demand this year.
Since starting one year ago, Bourne Indoor Farmers’ Market has become a firm favourite, attracting hundreds of visitors.
To celebrate their first full year, organisers are holding a market on Sunday, February 18 which will feature their biggest lineup yet.
There will be more than 50 stalls selling artisan food, local produce and handmade crafts.
Organiser Neil English said: “The first year has flown by so fast and we are now regularly inundated with bookings.
“We introduce new stalls each month for visitors to explore, so no two monthly markets are the same.
“Visitors can pop along to shop local and reduce their food miles, cut out the middleman and buy directly from experts who are really passionate about their products.”
New stalls for the February date include Alford Fish Sales, Teaspoon Tea Company, cheesecakes by Gabby’s Bakeaway, fused glass by The Glass Hippie, Sue Hagan Patchwork and dog-themed gifts from That Woofin’ Dog.
Regular traders include an artisan bakery, free range pork, homemade Indian food, cheeses, pies, sauces, local beers, ciders, dog treats, candles, cakes, chutneys and much more.
Bourne Indoor Farmers’ Market takes place on the third Sunday of each month at Bourne Leisure Centre in Queen’s Road, Bourne from 10am to 2pm.
