UPDATE, FRIDAY 9.35PM: A52 now re-opened after lorry recovered

The A52 has reopened following 90 minutes of recovery work after a lorry and large trailer left the road and ended up in a ditch.

The accident happened around 7pm and the road was fully closed between Donington and Swaton at about 8pm until 9.30pm.

Specialist equipment was used to recover the lorry from a ditch and police are reporting that no-one was injured.
