Bourne Town take on United Counties League Premier Division North leaders Eastwood CFC
The big games keep coming for Bourne Town who have a table-topping showdown on Saturday.
The Wakes have already enjoyed a club record-breaking run in the FA Vase this season and have the Lincolnshire Senior Trophy final on the horizon next month.
Despite all their cup exploits, Michael Goode's side have remained firmly in contention at the top of the United Counties League Premier Division North in their first season back at step five of the non-league pyramid.
They are four points adrift of league leaders Eastwood having played the same amount of games as Saturday's visitors to the JJ Mac Stadium (3pm).
And the Bourne boss wants his side to continue to give their all in the quest to close the gap on the table-topping Red Badgers.
He said "It's a bit of a free hit on us because we know that we've got to win the game.
"We've got a little bit of a gap on some sides behind us so we can chuck the kitchen sink at it on Saturday to try and get the result.
"There's no point in wondering about it afterwards."
Bourne have already beaten Eastwood 3-0 earlier in the season and go into Saturday's match on the back of a three-game winning run.
An injury-time goal from Zak Munton secured a 2-1 success at the weekend away at play-off chasing AFC Mansfield.
Goode added: "We really ground the result out which we have been doing.
"There were lots of positives to take from it which is going to stand us in good stead for the next few weeks.
"It's a massive game for both sides on Saturday because we've both got some tough games left.
"Anything is possible so all we've got to focus on is the last six league games and trying to win them all to see where it takes us."
Bourne have enjoyed some superb support for the past couple of seasons and Goode is hoping they turn out in force to get behind his side on Saturday.
He said: "I am calling on the Bourne people to come out and support us like they did in the FA Vase to get behind us so we can have a really good go at it.
"Their support has been brilliant so far this season and we need it again.
"We took more than 400 supporters to Whyteleafe for the FA Vase so to get over 500 on Saturday would be brilliant.
"There's people talking about coming from all over the place so there should be a great crowd."
Striker Tom Siddons completed the full 90 minutes in Saturday's win at Mansfield after a recent spell on the sidelines while Aaron Eyett looked back to where he was before his Boxing Day injury after coming on as replacement for skipper Robbie Ellis.
Top scorer Zac Allen also completed the full warm-up and is edging ever closer to a return after missing a number of games due to injury.
