Victories for Bourne Town and Deeping Rangers while Stamford AFC salvage a share of the spoils
Bourne Town have opened up a 12-point gap at the top of the United Counties League Division One table after a vital victory on Saturday.
The Wakes were 3-0 home winners against Clipstone in a top-against-second clash which attracted a crowd of more than 500 to the JJ Mac Stadium.
The visiting Cobras had two players sent off in the second half with Tim Gregory and Charlie Taylor both receiving red cards.
And the Wakes took full advantage to score three times in the final 21 minutes of the match through Henry Dunn, Zak Munton and Robbie Ellis.
A late leveller from Will Glennon secured a share of the spoils for Stamford in their 2-2 home draw with Redditch in the Southern League Premier Division Central.
Rob Morgan had put Stamford ahead from the penalty spot before Reece Flanagan equalised for the visitors.
Ryan Wollacott put Redditch ahead before the break with Glennon's injury-time equaliser grabbing a point for the Daniels.
Deeping Rangers were 3-0 away winners at Hucknall Town in the United Counties League Premier Division North.
David Burton-Jones - who was later sent off - had given the Clarets the lead which was extended by Luke Hunnings before Josh Sennett sealed the win in the second half.
Pinchbeck also had a player sent off in their 5-1 away loss at Loughborough Students.
Nathan Stevens was dismissed with the scores level at 1-1 after Kelvin Ibeneme had equalised for the Knights from the penalty spot before the Students scored four times without reply after the break.
Blackstones lost 2-1 at Radford with Ed Thorpe scoring their goal while Harrowby were beaten 4-2 by Southwell City despite goals from Jon Smith and Kemal Yeniberitz.
Holbeach's poor away form in the Thurlow Nunn League Division One North continued after a 2-0 loss at Haverhill Rovers.
