These members of staff at Scrivens Opticians and Hearing Care in Bourne are raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Society this week to support World Alzheimer’s Day. The team, from left Lauren Payne, branch manager Emma Crofts, and Angela Clay have lined up competitions and activities for youngsters and adults at the store in Crown Walk, West Street. Customers can guess the number of contact lenses in a sweetie jar or design their own pair of glasses in a colouring competition. Branch manager Emma is looking to raise funds and awareness as part of Scrivens’ ongoing support for the society. Emma said: “Dementia touches so many families and World Alzheimer’s Day gives us a chance to raise awareness of the charity and the need for funds for research and support.”
