The young winners of a junior poetry competition which attarcted entries from across the globe have received their prizes.Stamford Arts Centre ran the competition to on the theme of Where I Live to encourage youngsters to put pen to paper.Award-winning poet Wendy Cope handed out the prizes of Walkers Bookshop tokens, as well as poetry compilations which Wendy kindly signed.Our picture shows the local winners with Wendy; Benjamin Saunders, Klarissa Mistry, James M Usher, Tasha Mountain, Esme Hoomtje-Fisher and Hanna Hughes.
