Air ambulance helicopter lands after crash on A1175 near Market Deeping

An air ambulance has landed following a crash on a main road.

The Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance arrived over the Deepings at about 12.15pm today (Good Friday) having travelled from Waddington in Lincolnshire.

It landed close to the A1175 between the Northfields Industrial Estate and the village of Hop Pole.

The AA is showing the road to be partially blocked due to a crash, with slow traffic both ways near the Baston Fen turn off.

The air ambulance took off about an hour later and headed to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.
