St Andrews Church in West Deeping launches visitors’ guide

A new walkabout guide to St Andrew’s Church at West Deeping has been published by the village heritage group.

Invited guests attended a launch before Easter – to enable organisers of church visiting groups to try out the guide and arrange visits over the summer months.

It was also an opportunity to thank the trustees of West Deeping Village Charity and the community engagement team at South Kesteven District Council for their financial support.

The guide – a fold-out, full colour leaflet - is available in the church for £1. Church visits can be booked with the church warden, Allan Crowson by emailing: allancrowson@hotmail.com

Also planned is a series of information boards about the special architectural features of the church. The first is about the 13th or 14th Century baptismal font.
