Deeping Rotary Club and Dream Dance Deeping join forces at town Tesco to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK

A Rotary club and a dance school came out in full force at a town supermarket to show off their best moves – all in support of a charity.

Nearly £800 was raised for Prostate Cancer UK by the Deeping Rotary Club on Monday (June 14) as they preformed five dance routines at Market Deeping’s Tesco.

They were joined by students from the Dream Dance Deeping School, who took part in some of the performances.

A spokesperson for the club said it was wonderful to see smiles on shoppers’ faces and performers alike, all while raising money for a good cause.

“It was very successful,” they added. “Needless to say, the children showed us how to do it, but everyone said how much they enjoyed the performances from everyone.

“Thanks are due to the Dream Dance Deeping instructors, who gave up so much time to support what Rotary was trying to do, and to Tesco for allowing us to carry this out.”

The charity’s top priority is to fund research into finding better treatments and tests for prostate cancer.
