Four arrested after cannabis grows uncovered at three adjoining properties in Gainsborough
Four men have been arrested after cannabis grows were uncovered in three adjoining properties.
Lincolnshire Police responded to a report of people attempting to access a house in Spring Gardens, Gainsborough early this morning (January 2).
The Force Control Room received the report at 4.56am and immediately dispatched officers on patrol in the area.
On arrival there was nobody at the property and officers found cannabis plants being grown as well as the remains of previous grows.
Further investigation then led to the discovery of grows in the two neighbouring properties.
“The electricity had been bypassed at all three properties, and is being made safe by the power grid today,” a police statement read.
“Officers will remain at the scene and in the local area carrying out enquiries.”
Four men, aged 19, 21, 22 and 41, were arrested a short while after officer responded in connection with the incident. They remain in police custody where they will be questioned.

Police are now asking for anyone with information to get in touch.
“We are particularly keen to view any CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage from the Spring Gardens area around the time the incident was called in which might aid our investigation,” the statement added.
