Police seize 80kg of cocaine in Gainsborough, two men arrested

Two men have been arrested after police seized 80kg of cocaine

The class A drug was being delivered to Gainsborough when it was operated as part of an operation at the Corringham Industrial Estate area on Friday (November 8).

This was led by the East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU) in partnership with other law enforcement agencies and supported by officers from Lincolnshire Police.

Specialist search teams and investigators remained in the area on Friday and Saturday to carry out enquiries and further searches.

Two men, aged 24 and 27, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cocaine.

They have been questioned by detectives and released on police bail while investigations continue.
