Sentencing adjourned for man who assaulted woman and two police officers in Lincoln

A man who assaulted a woman and two police officers must wait to learn his fate.

Sean Woolley was due to be sentenced for these three charges, plus a further one of using threatening language, when he appeared at Boston Magistrates Court via videolink from prison on Wednesday (February 26).

However, due to a probation report not being uploaded in time for the 38-year-old’s solicitor Vicki Clayton to discuss the findings with him, the matter was adjourned.

Woolley, of Newark Road, Ollerton, and formerly of Gainsborough, was due to be sentenced after being found guilty of assault by beating on January 22 last year.

He is also guilty of assaulting two police officers in on May 22 and using threatening words and behaviour on May 24, all three incidents taking place in Lincoln.

The case was adjourned until March 11 and Woolley - who is due to face separate charges at Nottingham Crown Court on March 6 - was granted unconditional bail.
