Five fire crews sent to Grantham incident involving 100 tonnes of pellets




Fire crews were called to 100 tonnes of polyurethane pellets ablaze on the edge of Grantham this morning (Monday).

Two Grantham crews, one from Corby Glen, one from Billingborough and a water carrier from Holbeach attended the incident on Great North Road at just before 3.45am.

A main jet and two hose reel jets were used to extinguish the flames.
