A1 near Grantham closed in both directions due to 'police incident'

The A1 at Grantham is closed in both directions due to an ongoing incident, with an air ambulance at the scene.
The section of A1 between the A52 Barrowby and A607 Harlaxton has been closed in both directions.
Police are advising motorists to avoid the area, with the road expected to be closed until later this evening.
A number of ambulances have reportedly been spotted by a local resident of Barrowby Road heading to the scene of the incident.
Lincolnshire Police tweeted: "A section of the A1 Great North Road, near the Millennium Bridge, Barrowby, has been closed in both directions due to an ongoing incident. Please avoid the area.
"The road is expected to remain closed until later today. Diversions are in place. We will update when we can."
