A52 at Barrowby closed in both directions after crash

UPDATE: The road has since reopened

The A52 is closed in both directions due to a crash.

Lincolnshire Police has closed the A52 both ways between the Barrowby turn off and Denton turn off.

This is due to a road traffic collision on that stretch of road.

Lincolnshire Police Control Room tweeted the news, asking motorists to “please avoid the area”.

The AA Live Traffic News reported that the road was closed at around 6.15pm following two separate accidents along this stretch.

The incidents are affecting traffic between Grantham and Bingham.
