A52 closed in both directions near Haceby turn-off between Grantham and Osbournby due to serious collision

The A52 is closed in both directions following a “serious” collision.

Emergency services are dealing with a serious collision on the A52, near the Haceby turn-off, between Grantham and Osbournby.

The road is closed in both directions, with fire and rescue, ambulance and police all in attendance.

An eye witness reported that at least two vehicles had left the road.

An air ambulance was spotted at the scene, but has since returned to base.

A police spokesperson said: “Please avoid the area. We will release an update when we have one.”
