Grantham readers share pictures of the Northern Lights over Belvoir Castle and other landmarks
Readers from the Grantham area have shared pictures of the Aurora Borealis.
Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights, could be seen from some parts of the Grantham area last night (Sunday).
The phenomenon creates a dazzling display of colours in the sky, and some were lucky enough to catch it on bonfire night.
Steve Nesbitt, known as lincssnapper on social media, saw the “amazing spectacle” from his back garden.
Lukas Gindrenas saw the Northern Lights while at Belvoir Castle for bonfire night between 9.30pm and 10.30pm.
“Grantham experienced a rare treat,” said Lukas. “The Northern Lights graced our skies.
“The visuals are truly captivating.
“It was really great timing for the Northern Lights to show up considering it was bonfire night as well so we all got two different types of displays in one night.”
Steve Fearn photographed last night's Aurora Borealis at St Andrew’s in Asgarby.
